Samsung will soon launch two smartphones, following the preview of the Galaxy Z Fold2 during the Unpacked event last Aug 5. The launch is scheduled at 10:00 a.m. EDT on Sept 1, and people can watch it online via live stream from the Samsung Newsroom.
However, leaks about the Galaxy S20 FE (Fan Edition) surfaced on Monday, Aug 31, when the Galaxy Fold 2 and the S20 FE both appeared on Geekbench.

According to Geekbench, while the Galaxy Z Fold 2 runs Android 10 with 12GB of RAM, the Galaxy S20 FE will have 6GB of RAM. The S20 FE, which is shown as model number SM-G781N has two consecutive runs while Z Fold2 or SM-F916N has four.
The full features of Galaxy Z Fold 2 are expected to be revealed during the event later today. For the Galaxy S20 FE, the leaks emerge just in time for the later Fold 2 event, so it may be somehow revealed later like what Samsung did for the Fold 2 in the last Unpacked event. After all, it was previously rumored to come by October.

Galaxy Z Fold 2: Unpacked Part 2

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 price
The first Unpacked event last month seems like a preview for the Samsung Fold 2, which was Samsung promoted as a “game-changer for premium high-tech experiences.” While the exact cost of the phone is yet unclear, it is believed to fall around the same amount of the first fold model at $1,980. The company's use of “premium” confirms that the device will be quite a hefty one. However, the most recent price leak suggests a £1,799 or $2,150 price tag for the Galaxy Z Fold 2 in the U.K, which is £100 less than the original fold priced at £1,899 or $2,274. While most consumers may decline to pay over $1,000 for a smartphone, the market for the Galaxy Z Fold2 is, of course, those with the money to pay for cutting-edge technology.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 5G
As confirmed earlier, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 will run on Qualcomm's top-of-the-line Snapdragon 865 chipsets, which includes 5G compatibility. It features a design that opens up to reveal a larger 7.6 inches display inside. It also comes in two colors: Mystic Black and Mystic Bronze, which Samsung has been introducing in all of its new models.
Meanwhile, a tweet from XDA host Max Weinbach noted that Verizon is specifically listed on the Fold 2's software, which could mean that the phone will support Verizon's mmWave-based 5G network. If this is true, specific antennas are required in a phone.
My dudes… we got Galaxy Fold 2 software builds starting! VZW is here too which probably means the Fold 2 supports mmWave, unlike Z Flip 5G. Wonder if it'll be unlocked only for Verizon or if they'll carry it. pic.twitter.com/0aFkDIoy89 — Max Weinbach (@MaxWinebach) June 8, 2020
